Apple Pie Recipes

Have you heard the old saying “as American as apple pie”?  This is actually not accurate, as apple pie was created in the 1300’s.  Early American settlers brought their apple pie recipes from Europe, but only found crab apples with which to bake their pies.  Apple tree seeds were imported and finally Americans could make their own delicious apple pie recipes.
